Mirach's Ghost is a Lenticular Galaxy that was discovered

by William Herschel in 1784. It is located only 7 arc minutes

away from the star Mirach, which makes it very difficult to see

and to photograph. NGC 404 has a magnitude of 11.2

and is located around 10.3 million light years away.
