Messier 1 - Crab Nebula

 Supernova Remnant

 In constellation Taurus

A star exploded in the year 1054 which formed the Crab Nebula. This event

was recorded by ancient Arab, Chinese & Korean astronomers. At the centre

of the Nebula is a rotating Neutron Star emitting radiation. Messier 1 is

located around 6,500 light years away and measures 11 light years across.
