Messier 37

 In constellation Auriga

Discovered by Giovanni Batista Hodierna

before 1654 and consists around 500 stars,

with over 150 stars brighter than mag 12.5.

M37 is located 4,400 light years away and

is 25 light years across. It is estimated

to be 300 million years old.
