Albireo is the brightest star in Cygnus

 and one of the most beautiful binary stars

showing a wonderful colour contrast.

 The stars are seperated by 34 seconds of arc

and are located around 385 light years away.

Yellow star has a magnitude of 3.10 and weighs 5

solar masses with a  temperature of 4,400 Kelvin.  

Blue star has a magnitude of 5.10 and weighs 3.3

solar masses with a  temperature of 12,100 Kelvin.
