A constellation is a named pattern of stars with a defined boundary.

The ancient Greeks named the initial fifty constellations after their legends and Gods.

During the early 20th Century the International Astronomical Union (IAU) provided an additional 38 modern  constellations.

Today there are 88 formalised constellations in total (Northern & Southern).

I aim to provide a recommended list of objects to observe or photograph within each of the viewable Northern Constellations.

Andromeda Cepheus Orion Ursa Minor
Auriga Coma Berenices Pegasus
Bootes Cygnus Perseus
Canes Venatici Lyra Taurus
Cassiopeia Monoceros Ursa Major

Download the entire Constellation List as it stands

(I will gradually add a constellation guide for each of the Northern Constellations - however this will take some time to complete - please bear with me)
